WTF!? TEDxYouth@München Festival 2022
On July 26th 2022 we were guests at Werk 7 Theater and Tonhalle at Werksviertel-Mitte München. Two beautiful locations with a great surrounding and an urban, egdy atmosphere. For the first time we organized a full TEDxYouth@München Festival with seven great speakers and two music acts on our Main Stage, three exciting panel discussions with a total of 16 young experts on the Debate Stage, 4 great experts in the Lounge and more than 10 workshops at our festival.
We're still completely overwhelmed and totally overjoyed! Thanks so much to each and everyone who turned this event into an unforgettable happening - all of you guests, partners, team members and everyone else involved in any way. We can't wait to make this happen again next year!

The practice of cultural appropriation is old, the debate about it diverse. Are we allowed to adopt elements of other cultures? Is cultural appropriation discriminatory? What does blackfacing mean and in what ways is it okay? Are white people allowed to wear dreadlocks? Where does cultural appropriation begin? Is hip hop an example of cultural appropriation?

PANEL 2: TEDXYOUTH@MÜNCHEN X ASHOKA: CHANGEMAKERS - BETWEEN RESISTANCE AND VISION. WHAT DOES IT TAKE TO MAKE CHANGE HAPPEN?
There is a lot to do, because social inequality, exclusion and lack of opportunities have become worse in recent years. We need continuous societal and social change in the right direction. Young changemakers recognize problems, gaps in the system and they change society within their scope of action. In this panel we discuss the following questions with activist Masha (head of "Vitsche"), Nadine from KICKFAIR e.V. and Tobias from WOHN:SINN: What does it mean to take social responsibility? How does self-organized engagement work? How do I empower others? What obstacles do I face and how do I deal with them? How much responsibility must and can civil society actually take on?
